Valli Cinema

Valli Cinema, located in the very centre of the city, dates back to the beginning of the 20th century when it was called L’Alhambra. It was a hall where, apart from film screenings, people could enjoy sports events, especially boxing matches. After being completely reconstructed, the newly renovated cinema opened its doors on 18 July 2008, under the name ‘Valli’ in honour of the actress Alida Valli, who was born in Pula.

The Valli Cinema hall has 209 seats, and annually hosts slightly less than 80,000 spectators. In addition to world blockbusters, the cinema hosts European and international independent film productions of various genres, as well as exhibitions, lectures and presentations. A significant part of the program of the Pula Film Festival, which is held in July every year, takes place in Valli Cinema.
