In October, the South Istria Cluster is organizing a special pilgrimage walk for families and children, taking place on October 10, 2026.
The route takes you through the beautiful landscape of Rakalj, bringing together Mediterranean nature, the coastline, history and cultural heritage. 
The walk starts at the Fuzalica/Kalavojna crossroads, continues along the Stjepan Hauser Trail by the sea, through Luka Bay and past Cape St. Mikula, and finishes at the viewpoint and Church of St. Agnes in Old Rakalj.
Along the way, you can enjoy views of Raša Bay and the islands of Cres and Lošinj, a scenic coastal walk and a short break in picturesque Luka Bay. The final section includes a slightly more challenging climb through the forest and maquis, rewarded with a panoramic view of the Raša estuary and the open sea.
Special themed stamps will also be available for the youngest participants, making the walk even more fun and engaging for the whole family.
