It is an ancient custom to bless young wine from must on St. Martin’s Day, or “Martinje” as it is popularly known, and since traditions should be honored, the unique event “Martinje in Pula” was created. This year, it will take place from November 7th to 9th at Pula’s Giardini, from 6 PM to midnight.
During this three-day event, eight winemakers from southern Istria (Šegota, Benazić, Teraboto, Moris Vareško, Dobran, Diković, Kalavojna, and Marčeta) will be featured, while the catering will be provided by Konoba “Danijela” from Betiga and “Nadine fritule.”
Top DJs will be in charge of the atmosphere: DJ Fabris on Thursday, November 7th, DJ Nice on Friday, November 8th, and DJ Leon on Saturday, November 9th.
Everyone is welcome to taste the excellent young wine from southern Istria, enjoy Istrian delicacies, and have fun with great music!
