We offer you the opportunity to discover Pula and its underwater world in a completely new way – you can do good, win prizes, and become a famous SeaStar Hero. As part of our tourist offer, you can do a good deed for our planet while showing that caring for nature can be fun, stimulating, and accessible to everyone. Engage in collecting waste from the sea and preserving the marine environment in a fun way.
How to participate?
Track down the location to pick up your equipment at Hidrobaza beach.
Participating is easy – visit the beach station, scan the QR code, and enter your mobile number. You will receive a code via SMS to unlock the equipment. Take gloves and a net and start your underwater cleaning adventure. After the action, return the equipment, photograph the collected waste, upload the photo along with your name and surname, and visit the Pula Tourist Board office to collect your prize.
Every diver who brings back the equipment and the surfaced waste to the station, wins a symbolic award in form of a badge whereas divers who collect a larger amount of waste win a t-shirt. Participants who win the t-shirt also win the SeaStar Hero title, which grants them benefits in catering facilities throughout the city for one day.
