Final preparations are complete, the ice rink is frozen, and the Arena is glowing – everything is ready for today’s grand opening. The Arena doors will open at 5 PM, and the opening of the ice rink with the “Medo” Skating Club and a musical performance by young star Zoe Šestan begins at 6 PM, when the Arena’s light decorations created by InspiroLab will also be switched on.
“Last year we opened the first Advent ice rink in the Pula Arena together, and it was an incredible feeling and a privilege for us. Being part of a project that brings together a historic setting and a modern ice experience, supported so strongly by the local community, left a mark on us as well as the visitors. That’s why we’re especially happy to be back and to see the story continue. This year we took things a step further — the rink is larger, covering almost 900 square meters, featuring an additional track and our LED RGB mesh technology, so I believe the experience will be even more impressive. We thank the City of Pula, the Pula Film Festival, the Pula Tourist Board, and all our partners for their trust and excellent cooperation. It’s wonderful to see the project grow, and even more wonderful to be part of it,” said Denis Ventin, procurator of Arctic.
Within the walls of the amphitheatre, you’ll be able to skate until January 11, 2026. Until then, the ice rink will host creative and animation programs, ice tea parties, a free skating school, pair competitions, DJ performances, and much more.
