Irena Grdinić and Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca bring to life Đurđa and Franko, the most famous married couple in the Kvarner region. They do not hide their love — not for each other, but for food and drink. They loved one another long ago, before marriage turned into darkness. Today, they live side by side, reminiscing about the days of love.
Audiences already met their marital adventures in the plays “Casabianca” and “4 Funerals and a Wedding”, and now their alter egos have prepared a new play, “Slipway Exercises”, delivering the message that marriage is not always a song. But whoever sings means no harm — and whoever thinks too much is not in the mood for singing!
