At today’s press conference held in the Communal Palace, the details of the upcoming event Pulska Nights – Notte Polese were presented. The event will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13, 2025, at several locations across the city.
Mayor Peđa Grbin, Head of the Mayor’s and City Council Office Sanja Kantaruti, and Director of the Pula Film Festival Tanja Miličić announced a diverse cultural, musical, and entertainment program for all generations, along with free transport and parking.
“It is my great pleasure to announce a beautiful event starting on Friday and continuing on Saturday. This year, instead of just one Pulska Night, we will have Pulska Nights. We will enjoy, socialize, and I invite our citizens to come to the city in large numbers on both Friday and Saturday evening. It is also important to note that on Saturday, from 6 pm until midnight, both public transport and parking in the city center will be free,” said Mayor Grbin in his opening remarks.
Head of Office Sanja Kantaruti presented the two-day program in more detail:
“In addition to extending the event to two days, we have also increased the number of stages. This year, we are setting up five stages across the city, so every visitor will find something for themselves while strolling through Pula. The stages will be located at the Forum, Portarata, St. Thomas Square, the Market, and Giardini. It should be emphasized that the program at the Market is mainly intended for our retirees, with suitable music and a gastronomic offer. Sardine portions will be sold at the price of 5 euros. This year, we have also included events organized by various associations, among which the Downtown Weekend stands out, which we believe will be especially attractive to young people,” said Kantaruti.
Festival Director Tanja Miličić began by thanking Mr. Vlado Orlić, who, with his long-standing efforts, makes a special contribution to this event, and who will be joined at the Market by Mr. Budimir Žižović.
“We are looking forward to many different programs for all generations. I am particularly happy that on Friday we will have a program for young people at De Ville’s Ascent, since until now Pulska Night was considered an event for somewhat older generations. I would also like to thank the Tourist Board and those participating in the Pula pleše program, which will take place on Saturday at Portarata from 6 to 8 pm, followed by Gustafi and Top of the Pops at the Forum,” added Miličić.
As an additional benefit to citizens, the City of Pula will provide free parking on Saturday, September 13, from 6 pm to midnight in all city parking lots and zones, except in “Holders only” zones. Pulapromet will also provide free public transport during the same time.
Temporary traffic restrictions will be in place in part of Laginjina Street (from INK) and Giardini (to Centar Pharmacy) on Saturday, September 13, from 7 pm to 1 am. The ban applies to motor vehicles, except public buses, emergency vehicles, firefighters, and police.
As part of the gastronomic program, sardine portions will be available at the Market for 5 euros, organized by Vlado Orlić and Budimir Žižović – Žižo from the Avenue association.
The organizers once again invite all citizens, visitors, and tourists to join the two-day event of music, dance, gastronomy, and socializing in the heart of Pula.
