One of the most popular promenades in Pula, for locals and tourists alike, is definitely Lungomare. It is a four-kilometre-long coastal promenade that stretches from the Valkane bathing area all the way to Gortanova Cove and on to Valsaline. Along its entire length it is actually a beautiful rocky beach and as such very popular with beachgoers, especially younger ones. Gortanova Cove, on the other hand, is pebbly and gentle, and therefore frequently chosen by parents with small children, but due to the proximity of a beautiful pine forest, also by older generations who want to relax in the shade during hot summer days.
