{"id":9512,"date":"2024-06-05T14:57:13","date_gmt":"2024-06-05T12:57:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pulainfo.hr\/?post_type=where&#038;p=9512"},"modified":"2024-06-05T14:58:12","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T12:58:12","slug":"james-joyce","status":"publish","type":"where","link":"https:\/\/pulainfo.hr\/de\/where\/james-joyce\/","title":{"rendered":"James Joyce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Die ungew\u00f6hnliche Lebensgeschichte eines Menschen und K\u00fcnstlers im \u201cDavonlaufen vor der Geschichte\u201d, eine Zusammensetzung eines Lebensschicksals auf der Suche nach Arbeit, bringt Joyce nach Pula, wo er, als er im Oktober 1904 aus Triest eintraf, bis zum M\u00e4rz 1905 als Englischlehrer an der Berlitz-School arbeitete und vorwiegend \u00f6sterreichisch-ungarische Offiziere in der Stadt der Schiffswerft und des Arsenals, der Marinebasis der k.u.k. Monarchieunterrichtete. Schon in Pula tr\u00e4gt der noch junge Joyce das \u201culyssesartige\u201d Bild der neuzeitlichen Gespaltenheit des modernen Menschen in sich.<\/p>\n<p>JAMES JOYCE \u2013 mit vollem Namen James Augustine Aloysius Joyce, irischer Dichter, Erz\u00e4hler und Romancier, ist einer der bedeutendsten Schriftsteller des 20. Jahrhunderts, bestimmt der bekannteste, der innovative Verfahren der erz\u00e4hlerischen Prosa besonders im Stilverfahren, das \u201cBewusstseinsstrom\u201d genannt wird, eingef\u00fchrt hat. Joyce wurde 1882 in Dublin (Irland) geboren und starb 1941 in Z\u00fcrich (Schweiz). Seine bekanntesten Werke sind die Gedichtsammlung \u201cKammermusik\u201d, die \u201cDubliner Skizzen\u201d, die Romane \u201cPortrait des K\u00fcnstlers als jungen Mann\u201d, \u201cUllysses\u201d, sowie \u201cFinnegans Wake\u201d. Die Erinnerungen an Joyce in Pula versp\u00fcrt man noch beim r\u00f6mischen Triumphbogen der Sergier auf dem Platz Portarata, im Caf\u00e8 \u201cUliks\u201d, wenige Schritte von der Gedenktafel am Geb\u00e4ude, in dem Joyce Englisch unterrichtete. Wir finden ihn am Tisch, w\u00e4hrend er auf einen bestellten Espresso oder ein Glas istrischen Terans wartet, w\u00e4hrend der Pause beim Spaziergang durch Pula am Beginn eines neuen Jahrhunderts\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Das ist das Werk des Bildhauers Mate \u010cvrljak, eines K\u00fcnstlers aus Labin, eines Vertreters der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen kroatischen Bildhauerkunst.
