Der Hauptplatz des antiken und mittelalterlichen Pulas befindet sich unter dem Stadth\u00fcgel, an der westlichen Seite der Stadt, neben dem Ufer. F\u00fcr seinen Bau im I.Jh.v.Ch. wurde das Ufer aufgesch\u00fcttet, um noch mehr Platz zu gewinnen. Forum war das Zentrum der Religions-, Verwaltungs-, Gerichts- und Wirtschaftsstadtorgane. An der westlichen Seite des Forums befanden sich zwei gleiche Tempel und zwischen ihnen war der Haupttempel, der Jupiter, Junona und Minerva gewidmet wurde. Heutzutage ist von den drei Tempeln nur noch der Augustustempel erhalten geblieben, und von dem zweiten Tempel blieb nur die hintere Wand erhalten, die im 13.Jh. als hintere Wand des Rathauses eingebaut wurde.<\/p>\n

Die antiken \u00dcberreste von Forum wurden w\u00e4hrend des Baus neuer Geb\u00e4ude gefunden, und der neuste Fundort \u2018Agripina und ihre Zeit\u2019 (aus 1.Jh.) ist erst seit ein paar Jahren bekannt. Der Fundort befindet sich innerhalb des Raumes einer Bank, wo auch teilweise die Restaurierung gemacht wurde. Der Platz hat auch heute seine Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsfunktion. Im Sommer finden hier viele kulturelle Veranstaltungen statt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
